Our Sketchbook Revivals are relaxing, engaging sessions of drawing and painting in your own sketchbook, often with a theme, and the theme for Glorious Greens is PLANTS! If you know the winter blahs will be settling in by late January then this evening is the pick-me-up you want on your calendar. For this sketchbook revival, we’ll warm up with a creative prompt, then spent a few hours becoming one with a variety of plants–large and small, tall and short, terrestrial and xerophytes–and capturing their magic in our sketchbooks while letting their glorious greenery transport us to warmer, brighter days. What We’ll Use:Watercolor, gouache, charcoal, graphite, pastels, colored pencils, you name it: the studio’s materials are here for you! All you need to bring is your own sketchbook (any size, any type).
