REFUNDS/CREDIT

The deadlines below are based on Church of Art’s receipt of your cancellation notice.

Church of Art is a small local business run by one individual (hi, it’s me!) and even with a waitlist, filling an open spot within a few days of the event is not always possible and requires a re-direction of my time and effort. If you have extenuating circumstances that require a last minute cancellation, please talk to me about what’s going on.

Your booking is transferrable so you may wish to gift or sell your booking to another individual. If you do, please let the studio know that indivdual’s name, email address, and telephone number.

WORKSHOPS & EVENTS:

–21 days (3 weeks) or more before:

If you cancel 3 weeks or more before the event, you will receive a refund to your original form of payment less the processing fees charged by the payment vendor.

–20 days to 3 days before:

If the spot can be filled, you will receive a refund to your original form of payment less the processing fees charged by the payment vendor.

If the spot cannot be filled, you will receive a credit for 50% of the amount you paid good for 30 days that can be applied one time toward another Church of Art booking of any type.

–72 hours (3 days) to 24 HOURS before:

Regardless of whether the spot can be filled, you will receive a credit for 50% of the amount you paid good for 30 days that can be applied one time toward another Church of Art booking of any type.

No refunds are given for cancelations received within 72 hours (3 days) of the event’s start, only credits as described above.

–No-shows and/or CANCELLAtioNS WITHIN 24HRS :

No refunds or credits will be given for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the start time.

ART FELLOWSHIP HOURS:

No refunds or credits are available for Art Fellowship Hours bookings valued at less than $40 per single person (per booking).

For Art Fellowship Hours bookings valued at $40 and above per single person (per booking) are subject to the following refund/credit terms:

–Up to 72 hours (3 days) before:

You will receive a credit in the amount you paid good for 30 days that can be applied one time toward another Church of Art booking of any type.

–BETWEEN 72 hours (3 days) AND 24 HOURS before:

You will receive a credit for 50% of the amount you paid good for 30 days that can be applied one time toward another Church of Art booking of any type.

–No-shows and/or CANCELLAtioNS WITHIN 24HRS

No refunds or credits will be given for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the start time.

STUDIO CANCELLATIONS:

If Church of Art cancels an event, the event will be rescheduled for a later date. If an attendee cannot attend the rescheduled event, a credit will be issued and must be redeemed within 60 days from the date of cancellation. (Event does not have to occur within the 60 days, just the booking of the event).

In the unlikely event that Church of Art must cancel an event due to an event considered force majeure (including but not limited to: extreme heat; fire; flood; explosion; extraordinary and destructive weather conditions; acts, laws, orders or restraint of government; pandemic or outbreaks of sickness or disease; terrorism, war, sabotage or vandalism; accident, civil disorder or riots within Church of Art’s operating areas or directly affecting Church of Art’s performance; or any other circumstances beyond Church of Art’s control), no refunds will be provided.
