Beginner Drawing: Drawing from Life

Register

Drawing from life gives you the freedom to draw anywhere, anytime, without relying on first finding that perfect photo. And if you want to improve your drawing skills, nothing will do that faster than drawing from life!

Artist and Church of Art founder, Erika Halperin, will start the workshop by leading the group through a discussion of selected artworks with a particular focus on drawings done from life versus those done from photos. She will then guide the group through a series of hands-on drawing exercises, working with each student individually to answer questions and provide feedback.

This workshop is for anyone new to drawing or who wants to strengthen their current drawing skills.
