Assembly of Papers: Bookmaking!

This class sold out fast in February, so if you've wanted to learn how to make your own art journal then register ASAP!
In this 5-hour workshop, artists Fran Halperin and Erika Halperin will guide the group in making 4.5" x 10" art journals using a primarily a variety of used business-sized envelopes for the inside pages.
The range of patterns, windows, and paper thicknesses makes for a charming and fun book which you can then fill with your own drawings, paintings, and collages. We will have some completed examples on hand for inspiration!
You will have your choice of wallpaper samples and book-making fabrics to personalize your journal's cover to suit your own style.
Your handmade journal is yours to keep plus you'll gain bookmaking skills and the confidence to make more journals on your own!
This is a 5-hour workshop that will feel like 5 minutes! All materials and supplies are included.
What We'll Use:
Papers, awls, bone folders, bookmaking needles and linen thread, glue, and other bookmaking supplies.
